Throughout his years of being in practice, Faisal is frequently entrusted to represent and advise individuals and companies in matters regarding joint ventures, acquisitions, disposal of companies and properties, shareholders’ agreements, share sale agreements, conventional commercial banking, Islamic corporate and commercial banking. Faisal had advised and acted, amongst others, for PFCE Berhad, EA Technique (M) Berhad, Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd, Bank Pertanian Malaysia Berhad (Agrobank), MBSB Bank Berhad and Menteri Besar Incorporated Selangor (MBI). He was also involved in advising, structuring and developing Collateral Management Arrangement (“CMA”), the first banking facility, for Maybank, CIMB Bank and Standard Chartered Saddiq in financing customers for commodity financing. He has attended to documentation exercises for various banking facilities with cumulative worth of RM 5 billion.

He spent his early years of practice at boutique litigation firms in the area of dispute resolution specifically in the area of commercial and general litigation where he honed the skill of advocacy. He handles trials and conduct matters in High Court up to the Federal Court during this period. He has also been entrusted to handle mediation for the firms’ corporate clientele. Prior of setting up this firm, he was a Partner in a medium sized firm and subsequently, a reputable firm, both in Kuala Lumpur, where he was entrusted to head the litigation department in both firms (which handling, amongst others, banking, commercial and corporate litigation) and overseeing the business development of the reputable firm in Kuala Lumpur. He has expand his clientele profile to defamation matters where he has represented clients in high profile cases. He also has represented public listed company and statutory bodies in regards of legal dispute of various commercials issues. He frequently represent clients in arbitration and adjudication proceeding in construction dispute at Asian International Arbitration Centre. He also handles pro bono cases in representing underprivileged individuals in either suing or defending their case.
