Throughout his years of being in practice, Faisal is frequently entrusted to represent and advise individuals and companies in matters regarding joint ventures, acquisitions, disposal of companies and properties, shareholders’ agreements, share sale agreements, conventional commercial banking, Islamic corporate and commercial banking. Faisal had advised and acted, amongst others, for PFCE Berhad, EA Technique (M) Berhad, Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd, Bank Pertanian Malaysia Berhad (Agrobank), MBSB Bank Berhad and Menteri Besar Incorporated Selangor (MBI). He was also involved in advising, structuring and developing Collateral Management Arrangement (“CMA”), the first banking facility, for Maybank, CIMB Bank and Standard Chartered Saddiq in financing customers for commodity financing. He has attended to documentation exercises for various banking facilities with cumulative worth of RM 5 billion.

He spent his early years of practice at boutique litigation firms in the area of dispute resolution specifically in the area of commercial and general litigation where he honed the skill of advocacy. He handles trials and conduct matters in High Court up to the Federal Court during this period. He has also been entrusted to handle mediation for the firms’ corporate clientele. Prior of setting up this firm, he was a Partner in a medium sized firm and subsequently, a reputable firm, both in Kuala Lumpur, where he was entrusted to head the litigation department in both firms (which handling, amongst others, banking, commercial and corporate litigation) and overseeing the business development of the reputable firm in Kuala Lumpur. He has expand his clientele profile to defamation matters where he has represented clients in high profile cases. He also has represented public listed company and statutory bodies in regards of legal dispute of various commercials issues. He frequently represent clients in arbitration and adjudication proceeding in construction dispute at Asian International Arbitration Centre. He also handles pro bono cases in representing underprivileged individuals in either suing or defending their case.

He eventually read in Chambers at Messrs. Raja Daryl & Loh where he was exposed to enforcement related works under the Intellectual Property Department. Despite his interest in intellectual property law, he commenced his practice as a corporate lawyer in Messrs. Raslan Loong and subsequently the Corporate Department of Messrs. Zulrafique & Partners, specializing in energy & utilities and privatization & corporatization. He joined the firm in 2022 as part of the Corporate and Commercial team. His experience encompasses various aspects of corporate/commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, business acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, foreign direct investments, private equity investments, corporate restructurings and reorganizations as well as equity capital markets transactions. In addition to his corporate proficiency, he has extensive experience in corporate conveyancing and large-scale land development projects in Selangor and has advised among others Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad, Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation), Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor, Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Berhad, Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad. Due to his previous involvement in intellectual property matters, Nasron is also a registered trademark agent.

He experienced the pupillage phase at Messrs Manjit Singh, Mohammad Radzi & Partners and during his pupillage period he was exposed to conveyancing matters as well as banking litigation procedures. In addition, while serving the firm he was significantly experienced in handling bankruptcy proceedings and common procedures relating to the land office. In his practicing years, his expertise was in banking litigation, debt recovery and matrimonial proceedings. with the vast knowledge and a new vibe, he then decided to joint Messrs. Nik Zarith Mohd Ashraf & Co in 2014 as a partner and holds all civil litigation portfolios to spice up the legal services provided by the firm. He was then in charge of litigation department. During his time at Messrs. Nik Zarith Mohd Ashraf & Co he handled the case in debt recovery against Tabung Haji Heavy Engineering (THHE) amounting to million ringgit. He also succeeds in recovering few of the judgment amount due through garnishee proceeding. He was also invited to act as co-counsel in defamation cases, criminal cases and other civil court matters. In 2019, he later joined Messrs. Mu’az Manaf, Irfan & Firdaus where he in charge of litigation department of that firm. He continued his practice in civil litigation and conducted various summary and execution procedures like vacant possession, removal of caveat and writ seizure and sale. He also experienced in representing Sapura Energy Berhad in conducting their legal disputes. In 2022, he continued his practicing career at Messrs. Raja Faisal Iqbal & Meor. He is now part of litigation department of the firm.

Afiq Farhan holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons) and Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). He began his legal career by undergoing his pupillage at Messrs. Nik Saghir & Ismail (“NSI”) under the tutelage of Encik Nasir Zihni, where he was actively involved in matters relating to Corporate Finance and Banking Litigation. Upon his admission to the Malaysian Bar in 2022, he was retained by NSI as a Legal Associate, continuing his work in high-value and complex legal matters in Corporate & Commercial Division. Over the years, Afiq has cultivated a multifaceted legal practice, particularly in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Working closely under the supervision of Encik Ahmad Zaki, he has gained extensive experience in a wide spectrum of legal services including mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and finance, conveyancing, and probate administration. He also has vast experience in the preparing, drafting, and finalisation of the Master Facility Agreement and other subsidiary security documents for the Tawarruq based financing product for MIDF, PUNB, MDV and various commercial banks e.g. Maybank Islamic Berhad and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad. In August 2025, he joined Messrs. Raja Faisal, Iqbal & Meor, where he is currently part of the Banking & Finance department. Nur Saffiya Hana is a graduate of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), holding a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree. She commenced her pupillage at Raja Faisal, Iqbal & Meor under the tutelage of Raja Faisal. The nine months of pupillage had exposed Saffiya to a wide range of legal practice areas, including corporate law and conveyancing. She had the opportunity to work on cases that each Partner and Legal Associate specialises in, including Islamic financing documentation, agreement drafting, corporate advisory, corporate commercial, corporate and conveyancing. She was then retained as a Legal Associate after being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in December 2025. Saffiya has shown a strong commitment to the legal profession and is highly enthusiastic in providing high quality legal services to her clients. As her career grows, she is determined to continue serving the legal profession and her clients as the Junior Associate of RFIM’s Corporate Department.
